Arise and Learn

Chicken tortilla soup
1 med onion
28 oz can diced tomatoes
4 cups chicken broth
1 Tbsp cumin
1 can tomatoe soup (I like progresso creamy tomatoe and basil)
3 cloves garlic minced
2 lb chicken
10 oz can diced tomatoes with green chilies
2 cups beef stock
1 tsp chilli powder

Cook for 1 hour on med heat. Serve with baked tortillas cut into strips, grated cheese and sour cream.

not sure exactly how I am supposed to post recipes. If I am doing it wrong someone can tell me how.
But here is a steak marinade that I like:

1/2 C Italian dressing
1/4 C olive oil
1/4 C soy sauce
1 lg pinch of basil
1 small pinch of corriander
pinch of salt and pepper
med pinch each of garlic and onion powder
marinade for 1 to 2 hours

Just tried this soup. Only one problem with it...I didn't make a big enough pot. My family LOVED it. It was the perfect dinner on our cold and snowy night. Thanks for sharing!
