in your rush to have everything in order, everyone where they need to be with everything they need, you end up at your destination, feeling fabulous at your accomplishment of making the impossible possible, and then.......... your friend or co-worker asks "Why are you wearing two different shoes!"(CRASH,you almost made it)


I know a classic in the book of M.O.M.'s. Isn't it funny now thinking back on when this happened to you. We are the last ones to bed and usually the first ones to rise and even then we are the last ones completely ready. To me this is the sign of a true M.O.M. that loves everyone so much they are more important than herself.
The truth is in order to keep going day in and day out we need to be first every once in awhile. Time to recover and rejuvenate, so that we are ready to laugh the next time we show up with our blouse half buttoned or no mascara on. Take some time every month, week or day for some R&R.

you lick your child's face instead of using a towel of some sort.

Okay so I haven't literally licked my child's face, but I have licked my thumb and wiped a cheek or some other facial feature. Too often I run out of the house without doing a fashion or cleaning check. More often than that I am handing food to a screaming loved one (not just children) to stop the fit and by the time we get to the desired destination all that was right before is all dirty. Oh the JOYS, seriously it really is a joy especially if you laugh about all the silly things that happen.

Why Arise?

We believe that M.O.M.’s are the driving force of the world. We are the ones loving, nurturing, educating, influencing, and shopping for everyone around us. We want all M.O.M.’s to ARISE and laugh for this is the best way to start any day, the best way to realize how amazing your are, and a way to survive and succeed the mayhem around all of us. We want all M.O.M.’s to ARISE and know. All moms need to know about the world outside of our homes and communities, so that we know how we can take action and what action needs to be taken inside our homes and communities. We want all M.O.M.’s to ARISE and dance! At the most hectic time of day stop for a brief moment grab a loved one and make some memories.
